Air Travel - Frankfurt airport - Distance between gates - We should arrive from DFW on Lufthansa to Terminal 1 and continue our travel to Rome (FCO) from the same terminal. Please advise me how. Both terminal 1 and terminal 2 are for arrivals and departures. It depends on which airline you are using which terminal you need. The Skyline is the quickest way between the two terminals. It takes about 2 minutes. Signage shows you the way. It is a monorail. You cannot walk to terminal 1 from terminal 2, (well you can if you feel like walking down a busy road outside of the terminals) You have to either take a bus or the Sky train. At Frankfurt, Airlines use a dedicated terminal, always landing and departing from that terminal unless there is. Frankfurt Airport is the busiest airport in Germany and the fourth busiest in Europe. It is composed by a couple of passenger terminals: Terminal 1. Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1 is the oldest and largest terminal. Primarily used by Lufthansa, it hosts both international and domestic flights. See more information. Terminal One Frankfurt Airport
There are over 50 places to eat and drink in the post-Security area of Terminal 1, all of which are spread out across Concourses A-C and Z. German, Italian and Asian specialties are on offer along with fast food favorites, coffee shops, bars and bakeries. The well-reviewed Thai and Vietnamese restaurant, Coa offers views of the runway - though these are slightly hidden. Ask for seats around the corner. If you'd prefer to eat on the go, stop by the Temaki Bar. They offer a variety of sushi to take away in bento boxes. Bread-lovers should visit traditional bakeries such as Heberer's and Ditsch, where you can purchase pretzels and other snacks fresh from the oven. Goethe Bar, which serves alcoholic beverages as well as hot and cold dishes doubles up as a good meeting point. You can't miss the statue of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Frankfurt's famous poet. Other places to grab a drink include the mini Bavarian beer garden at the Reingold Bar, and the café/bar Mondo, where there are great views of the airfield. Before Security, there are about 30 or so eateries, located mainly in Concourses A and B though there are 2 cafés in Concourse C. The options include fried chicken, Asian street food, Italian cuisine and a bistro. Thong Thai in the Airport City Mall is especially popular with travelers and has 5-star ratings online.
